Bill has almost 30 years of financial planning, portfolio management and risk planning experience with a diversified skill set focused on insurance management, investment analysis, retirement income planning and philanthropy. Bill focuses on investing that lets client sleep at night while getting the returns they need to achieve their long-term goals.
Bill holds professional designations including the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the Master Financial Advisor in Philanthropy (MFA-P) designations. Structuring donations to charities and foundations in the most tax efficient manner is now a growing part of Bill’s work with clients.
Bill graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with a major in Economics. Postgraduation, Bill entered directly into the financial industry as a financial advisor with a large national firm.
Bill brings a pragmatic financial approach to his volunteering with local organizations where helps advise on an organizational level. He currently sits on the steering committee of a local youth support center and on his church council.
At a young age, Bill became addicted to geography. It was an unhealthy addiction and resulted in several big old atlas’ getting worn to the point of falling apart. In time, Bill’s overcome that obsession but is still the go to guy for that crucial geography answer at trivia night.
